The platform is built around a few core functions. Your organisation is connected to the Peppol network as soon as you activate an account. From there, you can send invoices to any organisation registered on Peppol, and incoming invoices land automatically in your inbox. Read more about the benefits of e-invoicing with eConnect.

For those who need more than manually creating invoices, the platform offers integrations with more than 30 software packages, from Exact Online and AFAS to SAP and Unit4. Via Autopilot, invoices are booked automatically in your accounting software. And with the Email Receiver you process PDF and XML invoices that arrive by email.

Alongside the platform, eConnect is actively developing Control (control.econnect.eu), the successor built on the Procurement Service Bus (PSB). More and more functionality for enterprises and partners is moving from the platform to Control. Control offers advanced capabilities such as real-time document tracking, extensive audit trails, Purple Pages (the organisation directory) and the Document Validator.

In the current transition phase, both systems exist side by side. For most users, the platform remains the daily working environment. Partners and enterprise customers with a Silver or Gold SLA additionally work with Control for advanced insight and management. In the long term, all functionality will be provided via Control.
